Avancis GmbH (AVA), as a pioneer of thin-film photovoltaics, is today the technology leader of CIGS photovoltaics.

These two aspects make AVA particularly attractive for facade solutions (BIPV). The recycling and disposal of AVA products at the end of the product life cycle is ensured via take-e-way.

The main infrastructures available to carry out the project activities include: i) Integrated CIGS pilot line for fabrication of CIGS cells and modules up to a size of 30x30 cm2, comprising all relevant equipment for CIGS single junction layer processing and characterisation.
